About Know Your Numbers

Hi, I'm Grant Ormerod. I am a qualified accountant and registered BAS Agent.

 I started my career in an Accounting Practice and later moved into commerce and headed up the Finance Department of numerous businesses of varying sizes across a range of industries.

I've had the privilege of working with some amazing, hard-working and talented Entrepreneurs over the years, but I realised that most business owners are not systems orientated. Larger established businesses have the resources to employ full time employees to install and manage sophisticated systems. My experience is that the better these systems are, the more successful the business tends to be. Many small businesses do not have these resources and, therefore, do not have access to systems that empower them to make informed decisions.

Knowing your numbers is vital to running a business, but most Entrepreneurs are so busy chasing their tails and filling so many roles that they simply don’t have the time to think about these things, let alone plan.

I started Know Your Numbers to bring this vital area of running a business within the reach of small to medium sized business owners.

Small businesses are the lifeblood of the economy, and my mission is to provide a value for money service to allow Entrepreneurs to do what they do best - be creative and sell their product.
