Create and maintain budgets and compare budget to actual to identify problem areas.
Create and maintain cashflow projections to enable informed decisions around payments and avoid nasty surprises.
Implement processes to improve cash flow and profitability.
Train finance and administrative staff to be more efficient.
Assist with ad hoc projects like preparing funding and finance applications.
Act as a sounding board for any ideas or issues that you want to discuss.
