A small to medium sized business that shares my core values. A business that will benefit from the knowledge and experience I have built up over 35 years in business. A business whose Owners recognise the value that my services will add and who are open to following my advice.
Overseeing the finance function and finance support staff. This will typically include bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, insurances and statutory reporting.
Cashflow management via cashflow projections updated daily. Improve debt collection and implement controls over supplier payments.
Prepare monthly and annual budgets and monitor performance against the budgets.
Prepare periodic management reports (usually monthly but as often as needed), analyse and interpret the numbers and assist the Owners and Leadership Team to make decisions based on the numbers.
Constantly monitor performance to find ways to increase overall profitability.
Assist with ad-hoc projects that are required from time to time.
Be a sounding board to the owners, participate in Leadership Team meetings and help the Owners to achieve their vision.
